Homeopathy treatment or homoeopathy medicine is a medical system built on the principle that like cures like. It primarily uses potentised (extremely diluted) remedies to stimulate the body’s own healing functions. The word homeopathy comes from the Greek words homios (similar) and pathos (suffering), and the basis of the method is that like cures like. Homeopathy started to develop during the end of the 18th century, although some fundamental ideas have been known for a long time in Indian and Oriental Medicine. They have also been noted by historical medical personas like Hippocrates and Paracelsus.

Homeopathic herbal remedies or a homoeopathic remedy used in homeopathy are usually potentised, which means that they are diluted in several stages. Other remedies are used as well.
The theory behind the potentization is that the effectiveness of a remedy is inversely proportional to its main substance. The potency isn’t in the substance itself, but in its pattern, and the less there is of that substance the more powerful the pattern. This is explained by that energy is created and augmented through the rhythmic shaking of the solution when it is diluted.

chronic skin GVHD

Since February 2006 my daughter (13yrs) has shown chronic skin GVDH (graft-versus-host disease) after 4 months of post bone marrow transplant for her relapsed leukemia (AML). she has been continuously on cyclosporine (immune suppressing drug), prednisone (steroid), anti-fungal drugs and penicillin. Cyclosporine and prednisone seem to keep her skin condition under control but not getting better. Doctors say eventually body will adjust but it might take years. She has red, flaky, itchy skin. Legs are more like purplish color. She started getting swollen ankles and feet recently. Her hair was growing last year but when her case turned chronic (donor cells are attacking the body mainly the fast growing cells) she gradually lost all her hair including body hair. Hair fell out in a very strange way, first from the crown area then the top. Several months ago the hair on her crown area started to grow but no growth on the top yet. Doctors are now suggesting Ultraviolet treatment. I think I am expecting from this group to tell me whether there is any chance in homeopathy to tackle/cure her problems or not. Thanks in advance

S usually work best when taken at the first signs of the pain. A warm bath, or hetiang pad, or hot water bottle applied to the lower abdomen near the ovaries can relax tense muscles and relieve cramping, lessen discomfort, and stimulate circulation and healing in the ovaries. Bags of ice covered with towels can be used alternately as cold treatments to increase local circulation. Combined methods of hormonal contraception such as the combined oral contraceptive pill – the hormones in the pills may regulate the menstrual cycle, prevent the formation of follicles that can turn into cysts, and possibly shrink an existing cyst. Also, limiting strenuous activity may reduce the risk of cyst rupture or torsion.Cysts that persist beyond two or three menstrual cycles, or occur in post-menopausal women, may indicate more serious disease and should be investigated through ultrasonography and laparoscopy, especially in cases where family members have had ovarian cancer. Such cysts may require surgical biopsy. Additionally, a blood test may be taken before surgery to check for elevated CA-125, a tumor marker, which is often found in increased levels in ovarian cancer, although it can also be elevated by other conditions resulting in a large number of false positives. For more serious cases where cysts are large and persisting, doctors may suggest surgery. Some surgeries can be performed to successfully remove the cyst(s) without hurting the ovaries, while others may require removal of one or both ovaries.References :

For skin condition application of tea tree oil and a salve containing goldenseal and myrrh greatly decrease skin irritations and flaking. Also, a quality herbal soap sold specifically for people with problematic skin is advisable. As for loss of hair bilberry helps considerably, but the cost and dosage are high. Hope this helps and best of luck.

there should be middle school in between new and old ones.
everything can not be found in books written in 1900--there should be new provings also with the modern scientific concept--who will do it you want to stuck to old ones and i do not have the force of voice.
there is a common use of silver KUSHTA or BHASM in this territory by TABBEEBS and AYURVEDS AND where there is rawness remains in preparing there shows such symptoms very commonly found.
thats why i suggested Arg met homeopathicaly for subsiding the unknown symptoms.

Dear Dick

Thanks for the insigthfull view. I greatly appreciate that.

I totally agree with the quot you put "what do you want to heal if you do not know what needs to be healed."

I am a person who also try to look at things at the roots and try to deal with the symptoms only.

This is what's driving me mad at the moment. Everything being done to my daughter are dealing with things occuring. And, I am also investigating some herbal remedies and apply some topical creams such as cavendula as you suggested. Again I am also dealing with the symptoms not he actual cause.

At least I am at a state I can make decisions as well for my daughter's situation. For instance, every temperature spike (above 38) doctors used to put her under protocol meaning that 5 days of antibiotic that covers a broad range (staying in the hospital of course in the mean time) until temperature comes down. But now I am challenging their advise each time they come up with a standard protocol like that. I have refused to let them give her antibiotics last time she showed temperature. When is the body going to learn how deal with things if it is under constant drugs. So, I am not always following the medical advise based on how she presents herself to me. Now she is able to deal with simple flu or cold herself.

My plan of action is now to find a good herbal remedy to apply internally (start a natural balance in the body - help to recover) and externally (to deal with symptoms).
Currently I am giving her:
omega 3-6-9 (children version) daily
aloe vera daily
apply aloe vera + coconut oil + wonder oil (mixture of oils) to her skin topically.
Her skin has improved and I hope that it will continue to improve.
Her skin is very thin, cracks and cuts so easily and skin prodcution is so fast that it is flaky everyday. but with this treatment so far I applied flakes are less and less everyday.
I am not expecting miracles but I want her to come to a stage where she is not greatly bothered with it.
I will also discuss the UV treatment for her. One thing for sure that I will not allow them to apply UV to her whole body at one go. I will ask them to start with a small area to prove the concept based on the theory I wrote earlier. I hope this will be succesful.
I am not dealing with her hair right now I think it will resolve itself once the underlying cause is treated. I have patience but my daughter is still so young and does not have patience to wait for things anymore.
At least I have a plan to start with. Please let me know if there are flaws in my plan. I will keep you informed how things are going.
